A simple design does not mean that it is easy to make. Often, the opposite is true.

Something I find very interesting is the relationship between designing and making an object.

Some projects are designed based on what you can make, while other projects are designed first, and then you figure out how to make them after. The art lies in finding a good balance between these approaches, thereby training both your design skills and your making skills.
